Leading transformation As a Senior Business Improvement and Change Manager, you'll be part of the UKs Transformation Office, and be at the forefront of leading our ambitious business transformation program. You'll be focused on transforming our business processes, striving for efficiency and value. You'll be working across our business - role modelling and coaching for continuous improvement. Key Purpose 1. To map, validate and challenge business process – drawing on industry best practices, innovation, and using lean methodologies to analyse workflows to determine the value added or non-value added, process performance, and forming judgement on current process effectiveness. 2. To identify, analyse, and make recommendations for improvement to complex and or multi-disciplinary business processes to optimise performance, improve quality, reduce waste, and to deliver efficiency. Identify clear business rationale for change – with reference and alignment to business strategy, risks, and with appropriate financial/people/quality benefits identified. 3. Design and deliver a portfolio of effective business change in order to realise value – considering the impact of change across people, process, and technology, and identifying and striving against the KPIs for which performance shall be measured. 4. To role model, coach and support a culture of continuous improvement Key Responsibilities • To facilitate and lead problem solving efforts to improve quality and eliminate waste in all areas of the business – working across multidisciplinary departments, and with consideration for end-to-end value chains. • To validate and document ‘as is’ business process, making and evidencing assessment of business process effectiveness against suitable KPIs. • Apply a wide range of thought to assessing the effectiveness of business process – drawing on the business strategy, performance and financial KPIs, business values, customer experience and outcomes, and sustainability. • To provide analytical and problem-solving expertise, drawing on best practices and innovation to recommend ‘to-be’ business process improvement • To coach and lead ‘ideation’ from knowledge experts within functions; promoting and shaping new ideas and improvements to existing processes. • To support and win agreement for business process change – typically at ELT (executive leadership team) or BLT (Baxi leadership team) including the creation of change specific business cases and project charters for management to determine the strategic direction for processes, where required • To prepare, plan, and execute improvement projects – with emphasis on agile change management • To drive the progress and results from improvement projects, optimising the positive impact of change, by identifying and coaching change agents within functional teams • Training colleagues and management in the use of lean and root case analysis tools, where required, in order to develop a culture of continuous improvement • Drive standardization and adoption of best practices across the organisation • Developing processes and tools that encourage knowledge sharing and continuous performance improvements What you'll bring • Previous business improvement experience in a similar multidisciplinary business is essential with a working knowledge of lean methods or equivalent. • Previous experience in managing and developing virtual teams is desirable. • Proven track record of delivering a portfolio of change is essential. • Excellent budgeting, risk management, presentation and interpersonal skills are essential. • Experience of senior level negotiation, and dealing with conflict. • Excellent all-round communicator, possessing strong electronic, written, and verbal communication abilities, • Proven ability to positively influence within teams and with individuals at all levels and foster collaboration. • Self-motivation and organizational ability to prioritize activities to effectively optimize personal and project performance. • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience At BDR Thermea Group, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are critical to our success.
