As the Occupational Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing medical care, drug and alcohol testing, and administering first aid. You will be the primary contact for employees seeking medical assistance or guidance.
What You Will Do
1. Provide medical assistance and first aid to employees in cases of injury or illness.
2. Conduct health assessments and basic medical evaluations.
3. Maintain accurate medical records of employee health visits and treatments.
4. Conduct health screenings and vaccination programs as necessary.
5. Respond to medical emergencies, coordinating with management when needed.
6. Keep up-to-date of regulations related to occupational health and safety.
7. Responsible for sterilizing medical equipment.
8. Generate inventories and requests for medical materials and equipment.
9. Follow up on accidents and illnesses reports, as well as corrective and preventive actions.
Who You Are
1. Experience in clinical nursing or a similar setting.
2. Strong knowledge of medical procedures, treatments, and protocols.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
5. Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards related to occupational health.
