As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students access their education by providing: Personal care support, including assistance with toileting, feeding, and mobility needs. One-to-one and small group support, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. Behavioural support, implementing positive reinforcement techniques to help students overcome challenges. Sensory and therapeutic support, working alongside specialist staff in sensory rooms and therapy suites. Help with communication, using strategies such as Makaton, PECS, or AAC devices.
