Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Witham Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a SEN setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Proficient in using technology to enhance learning Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling Work in a school or learners home setting with SEN students Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
