Role: Area Trade Sales Manager
Location: Home-based, located in the Southwest, covering the Southwest area.
Our client is a global leader in energy metering and control solutions. They have a significant presence in the UK, with over 7 million smart metering assets deployed, playing a key role in energy efficiency projects. The client works closely with social housing projects and new build developments, supplying innovative products that support decarbonisation and sustainability.
Due to expansion, they are now seeking an Area Trade Sales Manager to oversee and grow their business in the Midlands region. In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing installer and merchant relationships
2. Driving product sales
3. Ensuring customers receive excellent service
Regular travel within the Southern UK area will be required to build and maintain strong customer connections.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. 2-5 years of experience in sales
2. A track record of exceeding targets and managing a region or territory
3. Experience in the energy, technology, or HVAC sectors (preferred)
4. Strong business development skills, with the ability to analyse market trends and customer needs
Salary/Package:
* Basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000
* OTE: £55,000
* Company car
* 26 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
* Pension scheme (3% employee & 5% employer contributions)
* Life Insurance: 3x salary
