Project Engineering Manager

Role Context:
Worley are currently looking for Project Engineering Managers to lead our high value portfolio of projects across the UK, current and upcoming projects across a broad range of energy projects including new developments in hydrogen, ammonia, wind and gas.
The candidates will have the primary responsibility for the technical delivery of projects across FEED, Detail Design and Construction. (EPC, EPCM)
This is a dynamic role that will require your strong communication and leadership skills as well as problem-solving skills to lead SME’s and multi-discipline teams and to drive efficient and effective project delivery.
As Project Engineering Manager, you will be directly involved in delivering engineering management on innovative energy transition projects from FEED through construction. You’ll oversee a multidiscipline engineering team and be supported by a strong group of project based and digital specialists.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to effectively interface all engineering activities including multiple Worley offices, third party engineering services and clients.
You'll be:
1. A strong safety leader, driving suitable attitudes and behaviors and promoting the Worley safety culture
2. Managing the entire engineering project work scope and resources on a given project
3. Ensuring that engineering delivery meets scope, time, cost and quality
4. Monitoring and reporting on engineering progress
5. Identifying and addressing cross-discipline issues and conflicts to ensure overall engineering input is coherent
6. Leading the technical input required for tender / bid submissions
You'll have:
7. Experience in all project stages Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC & EPCM.
8. Experience in running a large engineering task force.
9. The ability to guide and influence the customer.
10. Strong commercial awareness.
11. Sound sustainability awareness.
12. Understanding of and ability to apply AWP principles.
13. Understanding of and commitment to robust project control systems and processes.
14. A degree and preferably chartered status .
