You will play a key role in supporting the elevation of the product quality, engaging with cross-functional teams, and supporting with technical knowledge for optimal consumer satisfaction. As a Garment Technologist, you’ll: Support fit sessions and the fitting process, from first prototype to production sign-off, providing actionable feedback to suppliers to maintain high-quality and sizing standards. Suggest solutions for complex fit, quality, and construction issues across diverse product categories, including Jersey, Sweat, Seamless Knitwear, and Wovens for both men's and women's ranges. Evaluate and approve sealing samples across different stages, ensuring alignment with critical path deadlines and consistency in fit and construction. Collaborate closely with design, buying, and quality control teams to uphold and refine technical specifications, aligning with brand standards and customer needs. Develop and implement quality control measures, including AQL checks at THG’s Omega site, alongside detailed reporting to foster continuous improvement. What skills and experience do I need for this role? Degree in Fashion Technology, Garment Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 1 years of relevant industry experience, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth brand. Strong expertise in garment construction, pattern cutting, and grading. In-depth understanding of garment and fabric testing standards. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to high-quality standards. Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) systems and office applications. Effective leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor junior talent.
