We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Head of Systems Engineering with strong experience in the telecommunications sector. They will lead and manage a team of software developers and DevOps engineers, supporting them in building an industry-leading product using robust architectural practices and innovative software solutions that are fit for purpose. They will be responsible for leading a team of permanent, contract, and outsourced development teams to meet the company’s goals and objectives. The successful candidate will act as a scrum master for the team, and be able to protect, mentor and grow the teams with a view to creating and maintaining a culture where individuals take ownership and are proud of delivering excellence and quality. They will also be responsible for the quality and technical approach taken by team members, ensuring it is in line with the company strategy – and that projects are delivered on time and budget.

About you:
You will lead and manage our team of Development and DevOps Engineers, both in-house and external development partners who are responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our telecommunications systems, including OSS and BSS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Scrum teams, Commercial teams, Network teams, Product Management, Software Development teams (both in-house and outsourced), and Support Operations, to ensure seamless integration, alignment, and operation of our systems and processes.
