Perform routine and non-routine maintenance and minor repairs independently. Conduct complex tasks such as Hydrotherapy Pool Maintenance, PAT Testing, TMV Testing, Legionella Checks, and Nurse Call Handset Repairs with proper training. Assist in various trade tasks and complete daily building and engineering maintenance. Plan and troubleshoot maintenance work for timely completion. Support senior staff in repairs and new work. Use the Works Management System for record-keeping and audits. Assist in surveys for maintenance, alterations, or improvements. Operate forklifts, road vehicles, and hydraulic lifts with training. Aid in new staff/apprentice induction and share expertise. Use and manipulate relevant tools safely. Demonstrate basic safety practices. Cover for the storekeeper as needed. Carry communication devices for urgent requests and emergencies. Participate in on-call/shift rotas as required. Respond to alarms (e.g., fire, MRI, lift trappings) and supervise passenger releases. Maintain, repair, and adjust traction and wheelchair equipment alongside medical staff. Perform other duties as assigned within role scope.
