Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £12.18 per hour plus benefits
Hours: 7.00 am – 3.00 pm, 8.00 am – 4.00 pm, 1:00 pm– 9.00 pm, 2:00 pm– 10:00 pm
Contract: Zero hours, Bank
Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is desirable.

We're looking for individuals to join our colleague team who can stay calm under pressure, who are enthusiastic and take a proactive approach, and handle behaviours that others might find challenging. If you have a manual UK driving license and are comfortable driving alternative vehicles, you're exactly who we're looking for.
What will you be doing?
As a Support Worker, you'll be more than just their support – you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
* Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
* Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
* Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
* Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
* Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who you will be Supporting?
At Waterside House, we support 14 individuals with various disabilities including visual impairment, autism, physical disabilities, mental health, and learning disabilities. Here are some of their interests and hobbies:
John* is a music lover and has his own radio show that can be accessed by tuning in via the internet. Loves talking about music and taking song requests and discussing local weather.
Jan* is an avid Wycombe Wanderers football fan. Attends all their home matches and loves playing Ukulele even though he is visually impaired.
Jane* is a lover of Reiki, art, and animals. Loves a man in uniform and pamper days. Her extreme interest is her love for the music band Coldplay.
Joe* is a social butterfly and hates being on her own. Has vast knowledge of various music and artists.
Josh* is Mr. Independent! Loves socialising and swimming.
Jake* is the most people-oriented person at our home. Loves volunteering and is a gym buff.
Jon* is one of the most independent electric wheelchair users. Loves going to the cinema and meeting friends.
