NRL is thrilled to be recruiting an experienced Quality Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Cumbria. What You’ll Be Doing:
* Take charge of quality Assurance on a groundbreaking project, ensuring that everything meets the highest standards and specifications.
* Thrive in an autonomous role, making a real difference while reporting directly to the engineering and quality management teams.
* Lead audits and inspections that are critical to maintaining compliance with the industry’s toughest regulations.
* Own and shape Life Time Records (LTRs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring every detail is flawlessly documented.
* Take pride in coordinating work packs, quality plans, and producing essential weekly reports that drive the project forward.
* Be a key advocate for Health, Safety, and Quality procedures, creating a safe and reliable environment for the team and stakeholders.
What You’ll Need:
* A passion for quality engineering, with a deep understanding of all the vital elements required on mechanical engineering or coating inspection projects.
* Certification as a Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015.
* A solid engineering foundation, with a Mechanical Engineering or Coatings Inspection background (HNC in Mechanical Engineering or ICORR Level 2 and NACE Level 1, 2 & 3 Coatings).
* Previous experience in highly regulated environments (ideally), where you've contributed to a quality management process.
* Expertise in Life Time Records (LTRs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure flawless documentation and reporting.
* Security clearance: BPSS and/or SC Cleared, or the willingness to undergo security clearance.
