This role is ideally suited to a career-minded, ambitious individual who is looking for that unique opportunity to prove what they can do and then be rewarded for it. We are looking for an Account Director to join our successful Ignite Energy team.
Role and Responsibilities:
This is a Senior position within the highly successful Account Management Team at Ignite. The postholder will be required to drive retention and growth strategies for a cluster of clients, ensuring the business continues to provide best-in-class service levels, alongside increasing revenues through renewal and upsell activities. The role will come with full management responsibilities of a team of Account Managers also.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Work alongside your team to assist in growing and retaining an existing client base.
2. Create Account Development Plans and an opportunity matrix for a cluster of strategic accounts.
3. Develop upsell and cross-sell targets for your team across the client book.
4. Continue to be the lead Account Manager on a small number of accounts as required.
5. Support the team with training and development needs where required.
6. Act as the initial escalation point for customers.
7. Work closely with the Head of Sales and Account Management on Strategic Plans, resourcing risks, and SWOT across your client book.
8. Create an Exec Reporting pack monthly showcasing KPI attainment and opportunity progression for customers.
9. Own the end-to-end contract process to successfully onboard customers onto new contracts or services.
10. Liaise closely with the Supply Services and Projects Team Managers regarding ongoing service delivery, assisting with the resolution of any issues.
11. Contribute to monthly Account Management meetings.
12. Monitor and support in tracking customer debt positions, ensuring any issues around late payment are resolved.
13. Attend internal and external meetings at Inspired and Client sites as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Energy markets and supply/metering contracts knowledge desirable.
* Team Management Experience.
* Background in Account Management or Customer Services.
* Excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, contractors, and other team members.
* Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team and autonomously as required.
* Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and computer literate.
* Collaborate with a high degree of professionalism with colleagues and clients from different cultures and countries.
* Attention to detail.
* Passion for delivering the highest levels of service at all times.
* Comfortable with analytical reporting and data interpretation.
