Job Title: Maths Intervention Specialist Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Levenshulme Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: Provide targeted maths intervention to students to improve their mathematical skills Create and implement individualised learning plans to address specific areas of improvement Monitor and assess student progress through regular assessments and adjust intervention strategies as needed Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development Maintain accurate records of intervention sessions and student progress Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge in mathematics education Experience in delivering effective intervention strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in education, with a focus on maths intervention Knowledge and Skills: Deep understanding of the UK national curriculum for mathematics Ability to engage and motivate students with varying learning styles Proficient in using data to inform instructional decisions Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education or Mathematics Experience working with students with diverse learning needs Working Conditions: Work primarily in a school setting Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday Potential for occasional evening or weekend work for parent meetings or school events All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
