Account Manager – Radio Communications
Location: Midlands Based
The Company:
Being one of the UK’s leading independent communications suppliers, specialising in the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of wireless voice and data networks. Our client has a dedicated engineering team in the UK. Each staff member is trained by every leading manufacturer to the highest standard and provided with the latest DMR and Tetra test sets to ensure even the latest equipment can be repaired to component level. With continued expansion, they are now seeking an established Account Manager to join this thriving business.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the continued increase in the UK market share through:
1. Ensuring key accounts are maintained across the UK and Ireland
2. The ability to talk to customers on a technical level at all levels
3. Responsible for scoping and translating customer business requirements into cost-effective solutions
4. Developing market share growth within existing customers
5. Identifying new customers, projects and markets when required
6. Ensuring the client's brand image is maintained in the market
7. Assisting in PMR/DMR exhibitions, etc.
The Individual:
* Experienced in a sales/account manager/results oriented role for at least 5+ years
* Strong account management and customer relationship skills
* Come ideally from a technology background, but preference would be Radio Communications
* Committed to travel nationally with occasional overnight stays required
* Professional attitude
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Reliable and flexible
* Customer service oriented
* Initiative and drive
* Driving licence
