We now have a vacancy for a Course Leader for GCSE Maths. In 2024/5, we currently have a total of 550 students studying GCSE Maths resits at Runshaw College. These students study a range of L1, L2 and L3 vocational courses across the college and must re-sit their GCSE in Maths as a condition of funding if they have achieved below a grade 4. To be successful in this role, you will take a lead on the planning and implementation of the GCSE curriculum as well as coordinating and chairing meetings with the GCSE Maths teachers to implement timely interventions and support our GCSE Maths students. You will also work closely with the Pre-Advanced Head of Studies and Head of School for Maths to monitor and track GCSE Maths performance across the college.
