CEO of Zero Point Motion, 2021 Institute of Physics Clifford Paterson Medal, 2022 Innovate U.K. Women in Innovation Award
Have you designed and taped-out MEMS gyroscopes before? We want you to join us! At Zero Point Motion we are redefining the limits of positioning and navigation by creating optical motion sensors 100x more sensitive than existing ones inside your car or phone.
This is not business as usual. We reject the inertia of traditional MEMS companies and the silos of photonics development. Instead, we work at the intersections—unafraid to cross domains, tackle unknowns, and rethink how sensor systems are designed, built, and scaled.
Together, we will bring aerospace-grade performance to commercial markets and revolutionize indoor positioning, autonomous navigation, and GNSS-denied applications. But our vision doesn’t stop there. This is the start of a broader platform—an architecture that could redefine how sensors interact with big data and AI, enabling a photonic-driven compute future. This technology has the potential to enhance any chip-scale sensor, from microphones to temperature sensors, unlocking richer data streams that power smarter systems.
