Warehouse Operative Nights

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative able to work the night shift with a current counterbalance licence and experience of using a PPT? Then this might be the role for you! We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to work the night shift in a busy warehouse on the outskirts of Huddersfield for a client awarded Top Employer 2023 and 2024. To be considered, you must have a current Counterbalance licence, experience of using a PPT, hand-held scanner, and computer input. This is an ongoing temporary role which may result in a permanent contract.
HOURS: Monday to Thursday 22:00 to 06:00 and Friday 17:30 to 22:30
HOURLY PAY: £15.21
THE ROLE
To ensure that all orders are supplied to the production areas on time and in full, that all Goods Receipts are off-loaded safely and stored in the correct areas under the correct controls, all Finished Goods are receipted, stored, and dispatched safely and correctly to the 3rd Party Distributors, and all other Warehouse functions as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To ensure the accurate receipt and documentation of all Components and Raw Materials in line with the current Operating System.
2. To ensure all receipts are located in the correct areas and stored in a safe and tidy manner in accordance with the current Operating System.
3. To supply the correct Components/Materials to the Production Teams, making sure that all stock is rotated in the system and that the current Operating System is followed at all times.
4. To ensure batch rotation on all released stock is maintained and adhered to.
5. To supply QA, QC, Marketing, or Production samples as and when requested.
6. To ensure all daily FLT/Electric Runabout inspections are carried out and recorded in accordance with the relevant DI and all defects/anomalies are reported immediately.
7. To ensure that FLT/Electric Runabout batteries are charged, watered, and maintained following supplier guidelines.
8. To operate and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
9. To ensure that all Warehouse standards are maintained within the guidelines of GMP/GDP.
10. To ensure the safe and secure receipt, storage, and dispatch to 3rd party distributor of all Finished Goods from the Packing Hall in accordance with the current operating system.
11. To carry out any other work as may be reasonably requested by the Warehouse/Logistics management team.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Current Counterbalance licence
2. Experience of using a PPT
3. Experience of working in a busy warehouse environment
4. Good communication skills
5. Able to use a computer and hand-held scanner
