A great opportunity has arisen for a skilled marketer to join a leading group of companies in a new role as they grow, transition and expand into new products and markets. The Marketing Content Creator will help increasing brand awareness through co-ordinated marketing campaigns and produce content across multiple brands.
Role and responsibilities:
· Content Creation: Support the creation of engaging content for marketing materials, social media posts, blog articles, and other promotional activities.
· Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences, providing valuable insights in order to keep content relevant.
· Social Media Management: Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement, potential influencer management and performance tracking.
· Event Planning: Support the sales team with preparing for marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
· Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution and analysis of marketing campaigns across various channels - predominantly digital, social media and email - and occasionally print.
· Work closely with other departments, such as sales and product development, to ensure cohesive and aligned marketing materials which will include video & digital print, sales and support collateral.
· Provide administrative support to the sales & marketing team, including maintaining marketing calendars, managing databases, marketing assets, and coordinating relevant meetings.
Skills and experience required:
· Previous experience in a similar marketing role
· Up to date and in-depth experience with all major social media platforms
· Experience creating a wide range of content and distributing content across a range of platforms
· Experience with video content and editing
· Experience in building and maintaining e-commerce websites, ideally Shopify.
· Working knowledge of Adobe suite
· A good understanding of sales and marketing principles.
· Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
· Understands the fundamentals of branding
· A "Can Do" attitude
· Happy to work on own initiative as well as under instruction
