Base pay range
White Horse Employment are delighted to be representing a global, fast-growing business with a small business mindset. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their rapidly growing Mergers & Acquisitions team.
This role is required to support the European M&A team taking responsibility of the UK market by identifying, qualifying and creating acquisition opportunities and engaging with relevant stakeholders.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
1. Identify and prospect potential companies qualifying according to their framework.
2. Approaching potential acquisition targets and creating an account strategy.
3. Confidently handling gatekeeper positions to talk directly to decision-makers and arrange meetings with potential companies.
4. Using digital marketing tools to assist with the prospecting process.
5. Nurture prospects by keeping in regular contact until ready to hand over the account to the M&A Director to complete.
6. Attend weekly coaching and teams calls and occasional trade shows.
7. Good communicator – Confident cold caller and has excellent written and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships.
8. Persistent – Has a positive, never-give-up attitude with the ability to handle rejection. Understands and appreciates that consistency is the key to success, a Hunter mentality.
9. Analytical mindset- Can think on their feet and enjoys learning new things along with identifying areas for improvement.
10. A true hunter, passionate in sourcing prospects and motivated to excel.
11. Tech, Fintech or Software sales experience.
The ideal candidate will come with:
1. Strong intrapersonal and relationship-building skills.
2. A university degree, or equivalent, preferably in Business and Administration.
3. At least 3 years’ experience in an active Sales roles, Business Development roles.
4. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Not shy of picking up the phone, cold calling and working in a ‘sales’ environment.
Fully remote, based in Bristol with international travel required.
