In this pivotal role, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring they meet our strategic goals and deliver exceptional value. About the team We are building a world class IT Service Management (ITSM) team from the ground up, using the ServiceNow platform to empower colleagues to delivery exceptional market leading services to our internal and external clients. What you’ll own Requirement Elicitation and Backlog Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Co-manage and prioritize the backlog, breaking down epics into detailed features and user stories. Solution Design and Process Improvement: Work with the System Architect to design innovative solutions that address business challenges and align with strategic goals. Identify areas for process optimization and recommend improvements. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders across HRSD, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment with ServiceNow solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Documentation and Testing: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories. Participate in system and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards. Support and Leadership: Support the business in bug and anomaly fixing, lead the BA function, and ensure consistent methodology and high-quality output across ServiceNow project streams. What you’ll bring ServiceNow Expertise: Significant experience with ServiceNow and specifically ITOM, including a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities and customization options. Proven ability to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and managing backlogs by breaking down epics into detailed features and user stories. Experience in designing innovative solutions with system architects, optimizing processes, and aligning improvements with strategic goals. Excellent communication skills for updating stakeholders, managing expectations, and explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Extensive experience in creating and maintaining detailed project documentation, and participating in testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
