Our highly respected client in Swindon is looking for a Transport Clerk to start immediately on an ongoing basis.
Duties
1. Driver Briefing/Debriefing at start and end of shifts
Setting up driver packs
2. Populating TMS system and excel spreadsheets
3. Answering calls daily and passing on messages to relevant teams.
4. General day to day tasks of a transport clerk
Requirements
5. Candidate must be PC Literate especially with excel
6. Willingness to go the extra mile and help when things are busier than usual
7. Transport office experience preferred but not required
8. Excellent communication skills

Rate of Per Hour
We have a new opening with as a transport clerk with a highly respected client in the Swindon. This role will require you to work 8 hours per day on a 23:00 to 07:30 shift Monday to Friday. During busier periods, the client requests you to be flexible on finish times to assist with the night shift. As a transport clerk you will be required to brief/debrief drivers, organize route packs (detail of deliveries) as well as general admin duties throughout your shift. This will be on an ongoing basis but for the right candidate there are permanent opportunities available. Training will be provided alongside development opportunities within the organisation.
