Position Description
Will work for the ERT Program Manager to provide financial and business administration support:
1. Responsible for project budgeting, monitoring expenses, and financial reporting on a large contract.
2. Preparation of Contractor Task Plans and the NASA 533 financial reports using an automated system.
3. Prepare internal financial reports including profit analysis.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on financial data.
5. Responsible for monitoring and tracking all other direct costs including travel.
6. Set up and maintain accounting and reporting system structure.
7. Experience in government contract regulations and administration.
8. Experience with cost reimbursable government contracts.
9. Train administrative support staff.
10. Search, track, and report on employee/consultant documents and skills. Develop system for maintaining and tracking required documents.
11. Maintain on-line document repository and user rights.
Required Skills
6+ years’ relevant experience, to include:
12. Knowledge of accounting/finance principles
13. Experience with NASA 533 financial reporting
14. Excellent MS Excel skills and proficient with all other MS Office applications
15. Ability to learn and use financial reporting applications
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
17. Excellent oral and written communication skills
18. Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
19. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to access applicable government systems.
Desired
20. Experience with Unanet accounting system and Taleo ATS system
Education
BS/BA degree in finance, accounting, related field, or equivalent.
