The Contact Management and Resolution Centre are looking to recruit three Enquiry Officers to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
We have one full time and one part time permanent position located at Chesterfield and one full time permanent position located at Derby (covering St Marys Wharf and Peartree) so please state your preference in your application.
Please note, on occasions you may be required to work at various Reception counters throughout the County to meet operational needs, sometimes at short notice. This role therefore requires flexibility and the ability to travel to such locations from the post holder. This may also involve a requirement to cover Reception hours that are different from those at your usual place of work.
What you’ll be doing
-Making accurate judgements and decisions which ensure the most suitable service and response is provided.
-Using multiple computer systems to interrogate, record and update data files and complete legal documentation.
-Resolving customers issues when possible or referring them to the appropriate department.
The must haves
-Experience of communicating with members of the public in a face-to-face role presenting a positive image.
-Experience of dealing with a wide range of customers with varying needs with the ability to resolve problems and manage conflict situations in a confident manner.
-Be able to use standard IT packages, systems and/or databases with experience of input, retrieval and interrogation of computer systems in a work environment.
