Assistant Finance Business Partner - 12 Month FTC

Job Purpose
You will be working for a North Wales Housing Organisation as an Assistant Finance Business Partner, proactively preparing, developing, and analysing financial information to enable the management team to take well-informed decisions, leading to future stability.
FOCUS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities of the role include:
1. Preparing and presenting annual budgets, management accounts, and future forecasts to Managers, the Leadership Team, and Board Members to support the Business Plan.
2. Being responsible for monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate information for the Management Accounts.
3. Utilising and setting up processes, procedures, and contracts.
4. Undertaking ad-hoc projects and identifying process improvements when they arise.
5. Assisting with the statutory accounts as required.
6. Supporting the Finance Business Partner in the leadership of the Finance function and deputising for them when required.
7. Inputting financial data onto the House mark to enable benchmarking with other Registered Social Landlords.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
1. AAT Qualified or equivalent.
2. Working towards CCAB, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
1. Experience of preparing and presenting annual budgets.
2. Experience of preparing and presenting Management Accounts including inter-company accounts.
3. Experience of monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate management accounts.
4. Experience of setting up processes, procedures, and contracts.
5. Experience of undertaking ad-hoc projects and identifying process improvements.
6. Experience of supporting statutory accounts.
