Brand Marketing Executive - Doncaster
Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Position Overview:
Elevation Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for one of the UK’s largest distributors. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be supporting the marketing activity for the portfolio of the clients’ own brands and retailer activity focusing on: picture portal, focus on guides, core range guides, and category learnings.
Delivering agreed marketing activity which contributes to the commercial success of all Own Brands – from internal communications, trade marketing (depot activation, internal publications, events) to consumer activity (digital, press, etc.). Helping the commercial team increase engagement with and value of the Plan for independent retailers.
Responsibilities:
* Support the development and communication of own brand strategy to deliver awareness and increased sales, updating plan based on performance.
* Help trading teams to ensure own brand plans match agreed commercial objectives (Increase sales/distribution by +8%).
* Liaison with members to ensure marketing plan is delivered, taking feedback for development.
* Manage the brand – supporting promotional activity, range development, marketing communication, and campaigns both printed and digital.
* Working with the commercial team to ensure communications are delivered in a timely, cost-effective, and impactful way.
* Management of relevant agencies to deliver the plans.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Marketing ability – experience of managing complex communication channels.
* Digital communications.
* Creative appreciation and ability to discuss creative ideas and identify improvements.
* Ability to persuade and influence.
* Project and campaign management.
* Understanding of agency roles and ability to garner the optimal support.
* Ability to manage a busy workload to deadline.
* 2-3 years’ experience of driving growth through communication and engagement.
* Experience of developing collateral to brand guidelines.
* Excellent insight and understanding of working with mixed audiences to deliver targeted marketing campaigns.
* Creative communications (appreciation, feedback, and understanding).
Key Result Areas:
* Sales of own brands are increased by 10% through the creation of an effective communication plan.
* Increased Sales/Distribution by 8% by matching commercial objectives with Own brand plans.
* Programme, create (with agencies/internal contacts), and track all necessary marketing collateral to support the Plan for Profit retailer scheme.
