Project manager required for a circa 6-month mechanical installation project in Wrexham. Paying a rate of circa £460.00 per day, self employed/Limited company basis.
The project will involve the installation of new machinery and the modification of existing equipment and machinery. You will be overseeing various trades on site such as mechanical, electrical, and hot work. Also liaising with the client and writing progress reports, while keeping an eye on the schedule to ensure dates don't slip and the project does not fall behind. Additionally, you will ensure the correct plant and equipment are on site while coordinating deliveries for the install teams.
Previous CDM experience would be beneficial.
We're looking for a Site Manager who has previous experience of running mechanical/machinery installation projects. For example, experience in running installation projects in factories, car plants, distribution centres, or similar.
The role will be client-facing and responsible for commercial, contractual, and scheduling aspects. You should be experienced in cost control/tracking and be able to demonstrate good practice. Experience of schedule control, understanding critical paths, and the impacts of delay/acceleration is essential.
A good understanding of site H&S operations and H&S documentation with a focus on compliance with regulations and standards is required.
