At Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL), we are seeking a Health and Safety Leadership Specialist to join our team in Reading. This senior role offers an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This hybrid-working position reports to the Head of Health, Safety and Environment, where you will partner with leadership and operational teams to drive compliance and improvement. As a key member of our organization, your primary objective will be to embed a culture of performance, build capability, and lead Health and Safety effectively.
About the Role
* You will collaborate closely with leadership and operational teams to ensure adherence to Safety, Health and Environmental Management Standards and Health & Safety Vision.
* Your responsibility will include developing, implementing, and embedding a functional Health and Safety Plan to deliver the overall Health & Safety Vision.
* You will influence, coach, and mentor leadership and operational teams to develop working knowledge and application of Health & Safety management requirements.
* Your expertise will be essential in providing management information and trend analysis of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance data.
* You will develop new Standards, processes, guidance, and documentation to drive cultural maturity.
* You will identify capability and process gaps, ensuring development objectives are set and achieved.
* You will provide advisory support on site/point issues.
* You will manage Outsourced H&S service.
* You will develop supplier assurance and accreditation policies, standards, and processes.
Requirements
* A relevant health and safety qualification/training, such as NEBOSH.
* Good knowledge of site health & safety risks, management controls, and legal standards.
* Strong ability to communicate and act professionally.
* A proven record of bringing best practice into an organization and using it to drive improvements.
* The ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to time, quality, and cost.
* Experience working within an organization maintaining ISO 45001 certification.
* Experience in client-side construction or working within an asset infrastructure business.
