Job Description:
Bury has over 55 Care and Support services that ensure our loved ones and those in our communities remain living independent and fulfilling lives. The demand for care work is increasing as our population ages. We want to ensure everyone that requires genuine support receives the best care possible in our area.
Have you thought about bank work? This is hourly-based work that is 100% flexible around your schedule but fills the vital gaps in the care and support work our community needs. You control the hours you work and the type of service and care you provide. You might want to juggle your expertise across different types of adult care or just squeeze in a few extra or even night shifts to cover costs.
We understand that not everyone can work full time and many people have commitments that work has to fit around. We hope some people have extra time to give and would benefit from a secondary income.
Working in Care and Support is tough. You are constantly supporting others with your compassion, but the work you do is invaluable. Being able to return to work offering your skills on your terms would benefit many vulnerable people.
Please apply if you:
* You have experience working across Health and Social Care.
* Would like to work flexibly week to week, with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week.
* Are prepared to affirm your expertise in digital training and assessments.
* Are interested in secondary employment.
* Have an enhanced DBS and are willing to move this to a live status (we will cover these costs).
* Have an expired DBS and are willing for us to process a new one.
* Are mobile and able to access our care and support services by walking, public transport, or driving.
* Have solid experience with medication, moving, and handling.
