Fraserburgh Campus Part-Time (0.5 FTE), fixed term until 20 June 2026 Working in partnership with the University of Highlands and Islands (UHI), North East Scotland College (NESCol) are looking to appoint a highly motivated STEM Outreach Co-ordinator with skills aligned to business needs and the economic growth in the local area. Building Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) skills are vital to the future and we are committed to the promotion of STEM subjects and careers, as well as continuing to address equity of opportunity in STEM subjects. This post will be based at Fraserburgh Campus. This is a really exciting time to join us as we have been gifted generous development funding from industry partners over the next 2 years, to expand the established UHI STEM Outreach Programme in primary schools in the North East Aberdeenshire. This STEM Coordinator (Outreach) post is based at NESCol with the aim of co-ordinating and enhancing STEM network and activities along with other STEM partner organisations at a local level. We are seeking an individual with the interest, enthusiasm and skills to undertake this new post. This post will cover the Fraserburgh, Peterhead and Mintlaw areas, and is part of a larger regional STEM team and one of 13 STEM Coordinator (Outreach) posts. These posts and a small ‘core’ team cover the Highlands and Islands and North East Aberdeenshire.
