Your new role
* Policy Development: Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Process Documentation: Document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with IFRS09 standards and policies regarding fixed assets.
* Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reporting of fixed asset information to stakeholders.
* Financial Preparation: Prepare financial accounts and statutory reports.
* Team Management: Manage the financial accounting team.
* Group Consolidations: Oversee group consolidations.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualifications: Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in complex accounting structures.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders at various levels.
* Leadership: A strong personality with the ability to influence and drive decisions within a qualified team.
* Competency Frameworks: Ability to produce competency and behaviour frameworks.
