Join our fast-growing, dynamic company anywhere in Europe For our Brigg branch, we are looking for an enthusiastic Generator Mechanic – Power Location: Brigg, DN20 8RR Job Description: We are looking for a skilled engineer with an in depth experience and knowledge of generators and temporary power supply. You will be responsible for completing maintenance inspections and repairs at our fully-equipped branch location to ensure maximum availability and reliability of the rental fleet as well as on site installations and breakdowns. This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday but we may require you to be available to work overtime as and when required outside of normal working hours. Company van and tools will be provided. Your Focus: Carry out mechanical servicing and fault finding. Install / de-install our range of generators, pumps, filtration equipment and tanks for our customers. Hand-over of equipment to the customer and instruct customer on correct usage. Assist in operational project preparation involving mechanical, electrical and diesel systems. Monitor parts inventory and maintain minimum stock levels. Provide guidance to other operation team members. Your profile: Strong electrical bias with mechanical (diesel and/or pump) experience. Work experience in a service technician role or similar. Driving license B essential. Experience with plant or equipment hire business desirable. Valuable competences: proactive, service oriented, team player, flexible and independent. Good oral and written communication skills (essential) Basic knowledge of IT to complete work sheets and safety training.
