Graduate Process Engineer/Scientists (Ref: 11317)
About the role - you will:
The successful candidate will work within our engineering team to help deliver world-leading technology and process capability. Your role will involve setting up, controlling, and improving processes to deliver the best product performance and yield. You may also work across Process Engineering and RD teams, to help deliver breakthrough processes for key technologies to enable volume production on our next generation products.
The Seagate Manufacturing facility in Derry / Londonderry currently has an exciting opportunity for a number of Graduate Process Engineer / Scientists to join our team. The roles are permanent full-time opportunities, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Compensation (Annual earnings of £32,000 Bachelor’s Degree and £35,000 Master’s Degree dependent on experience and qualifications)

You will:
* Be responsible for process fabrication and characterization of recording head.
* Define and carry out process optimization projects for recording head performance and yield improvement.
* Work with Equipment Vendors for qualification of new equipment and processes and introduction of new technology.
* Engage with the Development team for new process qualification and new product introduction.
* Participate in cross functional teams for yield improvement and scrap reduction.
* Work with production teams to improve the cycle time of wafer manufacturing.

Your experience includes:
* Recently graduated from or in the final year of your degree in relevant Engineering/Science related discipline (Bachelor, Master).

You may also have:
* Additional qualification and experience in materials science, magnetics, chemistry, physics, and electronic engineering, and other related fields.
* Experience and knowledge of nanotechnology and wafer fabrication.
* Knowledge and experience in data analytical techniques.
