Purpose The main purpose of this role is to lead and manage a team of administrators who support our health and social care professionals working with clients affected by catastrophic injuries throughout the North West, North Wales and North East. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality support services that meet the needs of the business. As a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, the Administrative Support Team Leader ensures that the team operates effectively and consistently delivers a high standard of service. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, the ability to lead a team and will be able to live out our values on a daily basis. All work undertaken must be compliant with Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The organisation's confidentiality policy must be adhered to at all times. Key responsibilities Team leadership: lead, motivate and support the administration team to achieve departmental goals and service standards. Workflow coordination: allocate tasks, manage team workloads and monitor progress to ensure timely and efficient delivery of administrative services. Business requirement alignments: coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure administrative support is aligned with company objectives. Performance management: conduct regular 1:1s, monitor individual performance and provide coaching, training and development opportunities for team members. Process improvement: identify and implement opportunities to streamline administrative processes and enhance service delivery. Quality assurance: ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance in all administrative processes. Problem solving: address operational challenges promptly and escalate issues where necessary to ensure smooth service delivery. Maintenance of records: ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures for document management. Building relationships: with clients through getting to know and understanding them. Recruitment: liaison with agencies under the guidance of the Case Manager to support the recruitment of support staff. Project coordination: assisting in the development and management of computer systems and spreadsheets for the maintenance and collation of information. Monitoring and maintain compliance of support worker's documents e.g., DBS, driving licence checks and training records. Data management: develop a deep understanding of the company's data and systems. Essential skills Proven experience in a similar Team Leader or Supervisor role. English and Maths qualification at GCSE level or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. High level of discretion and professionalism.
