Job Title: Business Analyst (ERP Implementation Support)
Job Summary
The Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Senior Project Manager in the successful implementation of a new ERP system. This role involves analysing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team. The Business Analyst will ensure that the ERP system meets organizational needs and aligns with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
* Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for the ERP system.
* Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
* Facilitate workshops and interviews to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.
Process Mapping and Improvement
* Map current business processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and recommending optimizations.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to design future-state processes aligned with ERP capabilities.
System Testing and Validation
* Develop test cases and scenarios based on business requirements.
* Coordinate and conduct system testing (e.g., UAT) to validate that the ERP meets business needs.
* Identify and document system defects, ensuring proper resolution.
Data Management Support
* Collaborate on data migration strategies, including data cleansing and mapping activities.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data being migrated into the ERP system.
Change Management and Training Support
* Assist in creating training materials and user documentation for the ERP system.
* Support training sessions to ensure end-users understand system functionality.
* Help facilitate change management initiatives to promote adoption of the ERP system.
Project Support
* Work with the Senior Project Manager to track deliverables, risks, and issues.
* Contribute to the preparation of project reports, status updates, and presentations for leadership.
* Provide insights and recommendations to enhance project outcomes based on analysis.
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
