Engineering Curriculum Lead Staffordshire Up to £44,000 p/a £5k golden hello payment 28.68% pension Full-time, permanent We are currently working with an education provider in the Staffordshire area who are looking for an Engineering Curriculum Lead to join their team and permanent basis. The role would involve: -Supporting the design and development of programmes in Engineering, which includes the new technical qualifications (T Levels), and higher technical qualifications at Levels 4 - 5, whilst leading a highly effective teaching team in this area of provision. -Teaching on a range of full-time, part-time and apprenticeship programmes at Level 3 including the T Level in Design, Development for Engineering Construction. -Teaching on a range of Engineering programmes at Levels 3 – 5 (24 hours per week contact time [FTE] over 34 delivery weeks) -Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, and developing and preparing flexible learning materials. The starting salary for this position is up to £44,000 per annum, which would also include a Teacher's Pension (with employer contributions of 28.68%), a £5,000 golden hello payment, in-house training, and a holiday allowance of 52 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays and closure days). To be eligible for the position, you MUST have: -A level 5 Engineering qualification (or higher) -A level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one) -Engineering industry experience, with current knowledge and the ability to deliver to industry standard.
