Description
Our Civil & Drainage client is looking for a Hydro Excavation Operator to join their team.
About the Job: As a Hydro-Vac Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a high-pressure water jet with a powerful vacuum system. This specialized truck is used for excavation, debris removal, and other tasks where traditional digging methods are unsafe or impractical.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safely operating hydro excavation and vacuum trucks to expose underground utilities, clear debris, and support essential infrastructure maintenance.
2. Servicing wastewater plants, pump stations, and public facilities to ensure smooth operations.
The Details
Hours: Monday to Friday + on-call shifts.
Pay: $28 - $30/hr.
Location: Hastings.
What You Need
1. Class 1 & 4F NZ truck license (clean record).
2. Physically fit & experienced in operating machinery.
3. Can pass a drug test.
4. Eligible to work in NZ.
5. Bonus: Dangerous Goods license (not required but great to have).
