About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team at Zachary Daniels, a global engineering organisation providing leading products and solutions to clients across various industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies and risk assessments at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure high-quality work produced in compliance with relevant documentation
* Knowledge of assembly and test procedures, particularly pressure retaining equipment
* Collaborate with the department to maintain health & safety practices and ensure clear understanding of work instructions
* Take a proactive role in assigned tasks to improve delivery performance by introducing new methods, tooling, etc.
* Efficiently utilise time to maximise output
Requirements:
* ONC/HNC Engineering discipline advantageous, as well as experience in a Repair/Maintenance/Assembly environment
* Knowledge of maintenance/welding/pressure testing principles, concepts, theories, and practices
* Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings
* General fabrication work advantageous
This is a dayshift role (37.5 hours per week) with a shift pattern of Monday to Thursday (0730-1600) and Friday (0730-1300).
Salary: Approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
