As a Structural Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity and performance of advanced aircraft designs.What You’ll Be Doing:• Performing and overseeing engineering analysis tasks as part of the Advanced Aerostructures group.• Reviewing, checking, and approving work produced by less experienced colleagues.• Mentoring and developing team members to strengthen expertise across the Structures discipline.• Ensuring efficient collaboration between team members, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and drive effective working practices.• Conducting fatigue and damage tolerance (F&DT) calculations using a range of software applications to meet certification and project requirements.• Evaluating F&DT implications for modifications and repairs to in-service aircraft.Your Skills and Experiences:• A STEM-related degree or equivalent aerospace engineering experience.• Knowledge of structural fatigue, fracture mechanics, dynamics, vibration, and acoustic analysis methods.• Proficiency in classical structural analysis techniques and structural analysis tools (e.g., Nastran) with output data processing skills.• Proven experience leading engineers to deliver customer-focused outcomes.• Demonstrated expertise in Aircraft Structural Engineering and F&DT analysis.About the Team:You’ll be joining an innovative Advanced Aerostructures group at the forefront of aerospace technology.
