About the role: We are seeking a passionate and creative female Support Worker to join our team in Maidstone. You will assist 2 adults with learning disabilities to live their lives more independently and support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support. We are looking for someone who cares about making a difference and helping them to stay at home and live their best life. You will provide person-centred care and support with some personal care, as well as social activities such as walking, swimming or been active in their community. This will also include planning alongside members of the person's circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy and to be successful in achieving their wishes and aspirations. The people we support at this service enjoy arts and crafts, computer games and exploring historical buildings. They enjoy been out in the community building friendships and meeting new people. They would really benefit someone to join their team who enjoy these things too. Hours: 1 part time position available. 24 hours per week to be worked over x4 shifts / 4 days Early shifts start at 7.30am Late finishes 21.00pm Location: Located in Maidstone with free parking available. About you: The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion about working within this sector, looking to make a difference with our service users and will be looking for a challenging but rewarding role.
