About Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal
Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal has 12 different wards and cares for 151 patients. Each ward has a dedicated Multi-Disciplinary Team which includes a Consultant Psychiatrist, Speciality Doctor, Ward Manager, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and support services including RMN and experienced Healthcare Assistants. Our primary aim is to support and care for our patients providing a full clinical pathway for patients onsite.
Job Role Description
As a Bank Nurse, you will be working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to provide excellent bespoke care to enable our patients to fulfil their recovery goals working towards building a bright future after discharge for all service users within your care.
You will be required to:
1. Act as a key worker
2. Observe/respond to patient behaviours on the ward which may include self-harm and acts of aggression
3. Formulate risk assessments and care plans to meet individual needs
4. Medication management
5. Maintain the safety of patients and staff
6. Ensure good quality of patient documentation which meets regulatory guidance and statutory requirements
7. Work within the NMC code of conduct and practise guidelines
Minimum Requirements
About You:
* Active Registration with the NMC
* Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
* Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to service improvement and quality.
* Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice
* Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, IT literate
