Kennedys is looking to recruit a Pricing Analyst to join our Finance team. This is a brand new position and will support the Head of Pricing to provide the data and information to support the pricing process and analysis of margin realization on an ongoing basis. The analyst will also work with the Business partners within Business Development and Finance, together with the product groups and offices to provide management information outside formal pricing and bid processes. Kennedys has well-developed Finance and Business Development teams that work together to produce pricing information and proposals for RFP's and pitches as well as ad hoc advice to partners. The firm has now grown to such a size that we need more, and dedicated, pricing support. Team Kennedys Finance supports the firm globally producing timely and accurate financial and management information, reporting solutions and operational support to maintain the high standard of service offered to the firm's internal and external clients. This role will be based within the US finance team reporting to Head of Pricing (UK) and also the Finance Director (US) and will be assisting with pricing analysis across the US. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the rates database to allow benchmarking of rates and identify overdue client rate reviews. Give Partners and bid teams support in relation to the pricing of work and client agreements including the provision of modelling scenarios Support the end-to-end matter management process in terms of pricing and client profitability reviews. Develop and maintain the pricing governance database including details of where approvals of deals outside of the scope of the pricing policy have been made Provide analysis of historical data of previous work done relating to specific sectors or clients Required Experience Bachelor's degree in a highly analytical discipline is preferred (e.g. Economics, Business, Engineering) Experience in pricing in professional services industry preferred Experience interacting with and assessing diverse data sources and key P&L metrics Excellent financial and analytical capability; data-driven and focused on fact-based assessments Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and documentation skills (Process orientated) Ability to work independently and take initiative to identify and address issues proactively.
