Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to a class of primary school students
* Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support their learning
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being
* Implement school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive learning environment
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards
* Previous experience teaching primary school students is preferred
* Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively manage a classroom and respond to student needs
* Good organisational and time management abilities
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience working with diverse student populations
Job Details
The Class Teacher role is based in a primary school setting in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The working hours are full-time, following the school term calendar. The teacher may be required to participate in extracurricular activities and parent meetings.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
