Used Car Sales Controller - Camberley
Salary: £42,000 - £49,000 (Dependent on Experience)
OTE: £55,000 - £60,000
As part of their ongoing expansion, our client, an award-winning used car supermarket, requires an experienced Used Car Sales Controller to build and run a new team at their new flagship site in Camberley. You will be responsible for bringing the new team up to speed in a state-of-the-art working environment. The sales team will consist of approximately 50 staff members, with a mixture of experienced sales executives and newcomers to the industry.

Alongside your customer-centric attitude, you will be commercially minded, passionate about the car industry, and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets. This role would be ideal for an experienced sales executive or a motivated Business Manager/Transaction Manager looking to step up into a more senior position.
Your Responsibilities
1. Lead, motivate, manage, and drive your team to provide customer service excellence while delivering against the company's key performance indicators.
2. Ensure the dealership is well managed with cars and take responsibility for the presentation of the Retail Centre.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with your team.
4. Work closely with other departments and be hands-on with the day-to-day running of the centre to achieve the highest sales results and customer service standards.
5. Set stretching objectives and provide regular feedback on performance.
6. Resource the sales team appropriately on a day-to-day and longer-term basis.
7. Maintain good relationships and ensure compliance with all obligations relating to customer experience and manufacturer's standards.
8. Encourage the sales team to review processes for efficiency and inspire them to deliver an incredible customer experience.
9. Manage day-to-day sales activities such as deal files, handovers, and sales funnel to maximize sales revenue.
Role Requirements
1. A proven track record in sales within the Automotive Industry.
2. The ability to lead by example, manage, and inspire the team.
3. Experience supervising a team.
4. Strong customer focus and great computer literacy.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
6. Self-motivation.
Working Pattern
Your working pattern will cover a mixture of weekends and weekdays, mainly long days of 4 or 5 days per week, rota dependent.
Pay and Benefits
As a Sales Controller, you will receive a base salary of £42,000 - £49,000 (dependent on experience) plus a highly achievable bonus scheme with an OTE of £55,000 - £60,000, along with other company incentives and competitions.
