Job Duties and Qualifications Under general supervision, assists in designing and documenting new engineering systems and technology approaches. Considers security requirements in new product / technology design and development. Independently manages time and lab testing to insure timeliness and deliverables are met with guidance from the project team leader. Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity. Develops assignments and schedules. May assist in recommending design or modifications of processes or procedures that are not completely standardized or prescribed. May train lower level technicians and/or field personnel. May be required to hold specific certification related to job activities. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering or similar discipline and 2 years of industry related experience.
