There has never been a more exciting time to work in primary care, and AiC Primary Care Network (PCN) is expanding its Clinical Team. We are seeking to recruit a positive, caring and self-motivated individual to take on the role and work across our three Practices. Following the announcement of the new ARRS GP role available to PCNs, The AiCPCN are looking for an enthusiastic, newly qualified GP to join our team on a fixed term basis of 12 months. The role will be part of the PCN ARRS and may have the potential to be extended beyond 12 months; however, this is subject to NHS funding and guidance.
Main duties of the job
The role will predominantly be based across our three Practices. The main duties include:
1. Provide face to face and telephone consultations for routine and urgent care.
2. Manage patient care within the Practices, including investigating and reviewing results, developing care plans, and making the necessary referrals.
3. Issue and sign repeat prescriptions, adhering to national and local guidelines.
4. Administer and manage patient queries, test results, referral letters, and any other duties as required in a timely manner.
5. Make clear consultation notes and records using Systm1.
6. Ensure safe, evidence based, and cost effective care in line with Practice disease management protocols and NICE guidelines.
7. Independently prescribe medications within your scope of practice.
8. Review and manage patient medications following the appropriate policies and local clinical guidelines.
9. Work with our clinical and support teams in delivering holistic and patient centred care.
10. Actively participate in MDT and care conference meetings as required.
11. Participate in on call duties if required.

Qualifications
Essential
* General Practice experience: Newly qualified GP, within 2 years or recently completed GP training.
* Must be fully registered with the General Medical Council.
* Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make confident decisions.
* Professional conduct: Ability to work within professional codes of conduct, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
* Organisational skills: Ability to manage time, workload, and patient-related administration efficiently.
* Team player: Willingness to work across multiple practices and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Must be GMC Registered.
* Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
Desirable
* Clinical systems knowledge: Experience with Systm1 is preferred.
