Class Act Teaching Services are the leading supply teaching agency for Oxfordshire and we are currently working with a Secondary School in Oxford who are looking for an Art Teacher. This Art Teacher vacancy is part time, 2 to 3 days per week and the school are looking for someone to start after the February half term. This is an ongoing supply role likely to continue until the end of the academic year teaching Art GSCE to KS4.
The overriding aim of this Secondary School is allow every students to flourish in a learning environment that is has high expectations whilst being nurturing. The school were graded ‘Good’ across all areas under the former Ofsted ratings for school.
Art Teacher Role:
* Good knowledge of the GCSE Art curriculum
* Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons, both practical and theoretical
* Maintain a well organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
* Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
* Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
* Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
Art Teacher Requirement:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
* Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Art Teacher in a Secondary School
* A relevant Art related degree is desirable
* SEND experience is desirable
