An opportunity has arisen for a part time social worker post in the Cambuslang Family Support Hub.
Locality-based Family Support Hubs were launched on 27th September 2022 across South Lanarkshire, providing whole family support from pregnancy until 18 years. The ambition is that a holistic earlier help approach will reduce the likelihood of problems escalating to care and protection proceedings by providing earlier, more preventative, strengths-based help and support to families in need.
Applicants should have a good knowledge of The Promise, Whole Family Wellbeing Approach, Child Protection Procedures and pre-birth assessments and interventions. An ability to work in partnership and preventatively with other agencies and families will also be essential.
