Your salary will increase year on year as you progress and develop.
As part of this course, you will study at Kirklees College in Huddersfield, Arla Foods' chosen education partner. Study would be in education blocks as follows:
1. Year 1 - 19 weeks in college
2. Year 2 - 10 weeks in college
3. Year 3 – 15 weeks in college
4. Year 4 - Permanently based at our Aylesbury Dairy plant
So what do our engineers actually do…
Our Engineers are problem solvers. They are responsible for maintaining, fixing, and installing machinery that allows us to create tasty, healthy, high-quality products. If a machine breaks down, we can’t get products to our customers. As an Arla Engineer, you will save the day and ensure that the nation gets Cravendale milk in their tea each morning, Skyr yoghurt in their breakfast bowl, and Anchor butter on their toast.
What you’ll need to be a successful Engineering Apprentice:
1. Eligibility: You must be 18+ to apply due to the hands-on nature of the role
2. Qualifications: Grades must be A*-C/9-5 for Maths and A*-C/9-4 for English, plus a Science subject which is desired and two other subjects
3. Passion for learning: Embrace the opportunity to learn both on the job and in the classroom.
