We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join the HR team. In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be the go-to person for HR administration, helping to maintain accurate employee records, support HR processes, and contribute to creating a positive employee experience. What’s involved in this role: HR Administration & Data Management Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system, ensuring all data is up to date and compliant with GDPR. Support with new starter onboarding, including collecting documentation, setting up employee files, and coordinating induction sessions. Administer employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and contract variations. Assist in managing absence records, tracking annual leave, and producing reports. Employee Lifecycle Support Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing guidance or escalating where appropriate. Support the leaver process, including processing resignations, conducting exit interviews, and handling offboarding administration. Assist with probation and performance review processes by tracking dates and ensuring documentation is completed. HR Projects & Initiatives Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives by supporting events, communications, and data tracking. Assist with employee engagement activities, such as surveys, events, and wellbeing programs. Provide administrative support for HR-related projects, such as system updates or policy reviews. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies in all HR processes. Support with producing reports and HR metrics, such as headcount, turnover, and absence data. Support with audits and ensure documentation is accurately maintained. Experience we need Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience as an HR Assistant or HR Administrator. Experience in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in HR systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). A proactive and collaborative mindset.
