Job Purpose The role of Marketing Manager - UKI will report directly to the Head of Marketing, working collaboratively together and alongside the UK & Ireland Business Development team, and other functions in our business to devise, implement, and assess the marketing strategy for the region. This person will take the lead role in formulating the strategic marketing plan, driving implementation and evaluating impact for the market. This person will be responsible for ensuring the strategy is in line with CDEs market focuses and CustomCare in the region, and ensure all marketing efforts and investment support the regions overall strategy and goals. The role requires someone who is highly organised, methodical and focused on lead generation and relationship development with prospects, customers, influencers and internal stakeholders. Activities will include research and understanding of the target audience, effective planning and implementation of the marketing strategy, and delivery of all activity in region with the support of the in-house and partner agency teams. Additionally the Marketing Manager will work alongside the Business Development team on the origination of sales presentations, marketing & promotion activities, updating systems, arranging and facilitating meetings to producing accurate monthly reports, management of digital footprint in collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager and in line with marketing strategies. The position is located in Cookstown, Northern Ireland and travel within the region is required given the job role. ResponsibilitiesStrategy Develop and implement the regional marketing strategy to deliver regional lead generation and retention targets. Undertake research on (i) customers, (ii) markets and (iii) competitors and identify potential areas to invest in. Be a champion for and represent the interests of the region at internal and external stakeholder meetings. Work with third party agencies to bring this strategy to life. Manage?the?regional marketing budgets, in line with organisational policy and procedures, by projecting costs, determining necessary adjustments, reviewing expenditures and preparing written commentary on the budget and/or variations as required. Regional marcomms Develop relationships with partners, influencers, trade media and industry associations; build and maintain database of contacts in order to leverage relevant opportunities for CDE. Oversee & implement the planning and evaluation of all marcomms for the market in conjunction with inhouse and external agency support. Oversee & implement all regional comms and content development for owned digital channels in conjunction with Digital Marketing. Define marketing collateral requirements, managing production, such as project case studies, project videos and all CDE literature, electronic media, site personnel and vehicles and promotional merchandise. Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all CDEs attendance and speaking opportunities at all external events to include exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, masterclasses, technical presentations and open day events. Customer Relationship Management Oversee the management of accurate databases for customers and prospects using company systems, supporting other business functions in their execution of this. Oversee the development and use of up-to-date databases to build relationships with existing and prospective customers to achieve annual revenue targets. Evaluate Supervise information gathering or the compilation of statistics pertinent to the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing plans; refining and adjusting activities, as required. Prepare & deliver reports, outlining progress against Marketing & Business Development KPIs. Ensure you are building consistency across the region in developing pipelines/opportunities to be used in building Business Development forecasts, as well as in the creation of dashboards/reports for both senior management as well as Business Development management. Adaption of plans based on market, company, customer insights & evaluation. Other Manage any direct reports, ensuring that regular performance reviews are carried out and that staff understand how their work contributes to the organisations performance. Adhere to CDE policy and practice. Carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role. Person Specification Have more than 3 years marketing experience at Marketing Manager level in a fast-paced working environment. Demonstrable experience marketing in or to the UKI region. Relevant experience of the sand and aggregate industry. Demonstrable lead generation experience. Demonstrable experience developing, implementing, managing and evaluating best in class through-the-line marketing strategies on a number of projects running simultaneously. Previous experience of applying creative and entrepreneurial thinking to marketing practice to achieve desired results. Previous experience of analysing marketing activity, developing and communicating a strategic plan through to Senior Management or Board Level. Experience of compiling and managing a budget. Experience of managing and developing direct reports. B2B marketing experience or experience of working within a manufacturing environment (multisite, multidisciplinary, or having experience of delivering across a range of services in a changing environment). Experience of using an ERP and CRM system. Experience of content planning and creation e.g. technical papers, video, social media content. Qualification/ Attainments Hold a relevant business or marketing qualification, or a business-related discipline. Have a digital marketing qualification or working towards a digital marketing qualification such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or the Digital Marketing Institute.? Special Aptitudes Be fluent in English and possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to liaise with all levels within an organisation. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate successfully whilst maintaining a collaborative approach. Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise & control daily workload. A track record of identifying and successfully implementing process changes. Clean driving licence, access to own car. Right to work in the UK. Ability to travel across UKI market (>50%).
